Dining in Surfers Paradise
If you're up for some self-catering during your stay, there's a good outdoor BBQ area where the whole family can enjoy some outdoor dining by the pool. The apartments at BreakFree Peninsula all have fully-equipped kitchens so you'll also be able to do some home cooking in the comfort of your own accommodation and save money on dining out.
If you want to head out there's so many great places to eat, all in walking distance from the resort. Head down towards Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise's main entertainment and dining precinct, where you'll find lively restaurants, take-away and cheap eats to suit all tastes and budgets. There are some great fresh seafood restaurants in Surfers, as well as pub style food, Mexican, Italian, Indian and Japanese restaurants.
There’s a great mix of places to eat in Surfers if you head to one of the Mantra or Peppers Hotels. Go all out at Peppers Soul at Seaduction Restaurant with ocean views to die for and food you’ll be raving about for days. Or grab a bit to eat at Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant or NOSH Pan Asian – both fair choices and not too distant from where you’ll be staying.
Neighbouring Broadbeach also has a huge selection of cafes and restaurants and is worth a visit if you fancy getting out and seeing a bit more of the Gold Coast.
